Inveritax

Inveritax is an early stage software platform for the tax and financial services industry, serving banks, lenders and credit unions. Founded in January 2025 and headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

They had been working with a development shop in Texas on a traditional project model. Every piece of work began with developers learning the product and the requirements before anything useful got built, so delay was not a failure of the arrangement. It was built into it.

Leadership decided they needed a team focused on their product and nothing else.

“In the 3 to 4 months we have worked together, you have learned way more about our business than our other dev shop that we were with for a year. It's not even close.”Alex, Co-Founder

We learned the business first

The order was deliberate, and it is the whole point. We did not start recruiting. We embedded as their development partner for three to four months and learned the platform, the business logic, the workflows and what their customers actually needed.

Only then did hiring begin. The engineers who arrived became productive quickly because the product knowledge was already sitting in the team they were joining.

From there we moved into sourcing, vetting and placing full time engineers globally, and took on payroll, compliance and ongoing support so none of it landed back on them.

What changed

“We had a really important project that we put you guys on right away that is now our differentiator in the market and you guys knocked it out of the park.”Mike, Chief Product Officer

If this sounds familiar

If your developers are still asking what the product does after a year, you are not buying development. You are funding onboarding, over and over. Product understanding compounds. Buy it once and keep it inside a team that stays.
